Rolling Ladders

Reach new heights with Rolling ladders!!

Reaching high shelves and areas can be backbreaking and very hard to reach. Why not make your life easier with our premier Rolling Ladders!
Our Rolling Ladders are available in a variety of heights and steps for you to reach your desired height, preventing any stress and injuries that could happen without our rolling ladders.

Steel Rolling ladders are designed to maximize convenient access to elevated areas while ensuring safety standards. From warehouses and factories to stores and retail spaces, the built-in caster wheels provide mobility and accessibility to all areas. Equipped with handrails, non-slip steps, and a locking mechanism, we provide the best safety warehouse ladders in the industry. The versatile design and functionality of the rolling ladders provide a cost-efficient alternative to forklifts while continuing your daily business operational activities.

A great tool and pivotal for warehouses and stockrooms, A.I.T. carries a wide range of rolling ladders, all catered for your reach and heights of your shelves for easy and best access. Rolling Ladders feature a foot-operated locking safety system to secure the ladder to prevent movement while on the ladder. A platform at the top of the ladder can be provided to ensure safety and work efficiency set by OSHA standard for the best workplace environment.

Ladders are manufactured to have a standard load capacity of 450lbs. They are available at a 50° climbing angle (up to 8-steps), which allows you to have a forward climb and descent, or 59° to reach those higher shelves. These mobile ladders have caster wheels so you can climb to any location in your warehouse.

Check out the specifications below to help decide which rolling ladder/work platform would work best for you:

1. Height

To determine the height of the ladder, consider the height you want to comfortably reach. You want to determine the top step of the ladder to be 5 feet less than the desired reach height. Once you have determined the desired height for the top step, refer to the list below to calculate the number of steps needed on your rolling ladder to reach the top step height. Each step is spaced 10 inches apart.

  • 3 Steps - 30" (to the top step)
  • 4 Steps - 40"
  • 5 Steps - 50"
  • 6 Steps - 60"
  • 7 Steps - 70"
  • 8 Steps - 80"
  • 9 Steps - 90"
  • 10 Steps - 100"
  • 11 Steps - 110"
  • 12 Steps - 120"
  • 13 Steps - 130"
  • 14 Steps - 140"
  • 15 Steps - 150"
  • 16 Steps - 160"

EX: John has a shelf at 15ft high he wants to store boxes of product. For John to reach 15ft high comfortably he will need to have the top step of his ladder to be at 10ft high or 120 inches, therefore John would need a 12 step-120" rolling ladder.

2. Step Width

The width of the step is important to maximize grip and space to walk up and down the ladder safely while not feeling constrained within your ladder. We offer the following rolling ladder tread widths to allow space, storage, and usage abilities based on your needs.
  • 16" Tread Width
  • 24" (Recommended)
  • 30"

3. Platform Depth

At the top stop of the steel ladder (also known as the platform), you can select different depths to provide walking space to access different ends of the shelves to increase reach. You can get your platform's depths at 10", 20", and 30".
